Other British Shaft Drive Motorcycles

Berwick

Prototypes

I don't know a lot about either this bike or the company that made it because it never actually made it to mass production.

The Berwick company experimented with a few prototypes between 1929 and 1930 using either 247cc or 343cc Villiers engines which were supplied 'off the shelf' to many different British motorcycle manufacturers.

The bike had shaft drive and a very basic homebrew look, maybe as a sign of the 30's depression.
